One Body, Many Gifts

In Romans 12:3–8, Paul reminds us that every believer has a vital role in the body of Christ. Through four powerful truths—nobody is everything, everybody is somebody, everybody has something, and everybody should do something—we discover the importance of humility, unity, spiritual gifts, and serving others. God has uniquely gifted each of us, not for personal recognition, but to strengthen His church. Because of the extraordinary grace we've received through Jesus Christ, we are called to use what God has given us to serve one another.

For twenty years, The Station Church has experienced the faithfulness of God. In this special anniversary message from 1 Samuel 7 and Psalm 37, we look back and declare with Samuel, “The Lord has helped us to this point.” In this message, we do not simply look back to remind us of where God has been faithful. We also look forward with confidence to trust Him for what lies ahead. As we celebrate all God has done, we look forward with faith, trusting Him with the next twenty years.

Romans 12 marks a turning point: after eleven chapters explaining what God has done for us, Paul shows us how we should live in response. In view of God’s incredible mercy, we are called to surrender our lives as living sacrifices, renew our minds through God’s truth, and walk confidently in His will. The Christian life isn’t about earning God’s love—it’s responding to love already received. The question is simple: If Jesus has given you all of Himself, how much of you does He have?

In Romans 11:30–36, Paul moves from deep theology to passionate worship. God’s mercy reminds us that none of us earned our salvation, while His unsearchable wisdom teaches us to trust Him even when we cannot understand His ways. Ultimately, everything in life is from Him, through Him, and to Him. This message challenges us to marvel at God’s mercy, rest in God’s mystery, and live every part of our lives for the glory of God.

In Romans 11:1–27, Paul reminds us that God is always faithful to His promises. Through the picture of an olive tree, we see God preserve a remnant by grace, extend salvation to the Gentiles, warn against pride and superficial faith, and promise restoration for Israel. “God’s Family Tree” challenges us to examine whether our faith is truly rooted in Christ and reminds us that genuine saving faith is a faith that endures.

In Romans 10:13–17, Paul reminds us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, but they first must hear the good news. This message challenges every believer to recognize the urgency of evangelism, embrace our responsibility to go and speak, and trust the power of the gospel. God may use our willingness to share Christ as the answer to someone else’s prayer. Beautiful feet are feet that go! Are your feet moving in rhythm with God's plan?

In Romans 10:1–13, Paul brings the mystery of God’s sovereignty alongside the responsibility of man. Sincerity cannot save us, religious works cannot save us, and our best efforts can never make us righteous before God. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus has already done what we could never do. Salvation is available to everyone who believes, confesses Jesus as Lord, and calls upon His name. Only Jesus can save.

In the final message of our At War series, we discover how to stand firm in the spiritual battles of everyday life. From Ephesians 6:10–20, we learn that the armor of God is the Gospel applied to every area of our lives. Through truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, God’s Word, and prayer, we fight from victory, not for victory knowing our strength isn’t found in ourselves, but in the Lord and His vast strength.
