The Battle For Your Worth

When David stepped into the Valley of Elah, the greatest battle wasn't against a giant. It was against the lies that define our value by appearance, ability, or the opinions of others. While Goliath measured worth by strength and Saul by experience, David found his confidence in the Lord. This message will encourage you to stop fighting for your worth and start living from the identity and purpose God has already given you.

In one of the greatest spiritual showdowns in Scripture, Elijah stands alone against the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. The battle wasn't simply about fire falling from heaven. It was about who was truly worthy of worship. He has been running the same play for thousands of years. Because the first recorded words of Satan in the Bible reveal his strategy: "Did God really say?" His first attack was an attack on God’s Word because Satan knew that if he could get us to question what God had said, he could get us to eventually disobey what God had commanded.
