FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
We are about 20 minutes from Samford University and 30 minutes from UAB, but we are directly off of Exit 6 of Interstate 459. At the I-65 interchange, take 459 towards Hoover/Tuscaloosa. We are approximately 10 miles down I-459.
Our Sunday morning worship services are designed with young adults, like yourself, in mind. The service is casual and contemporary, but we are very serious about our faith.
Our collegiate ministry meets weekly and it is led by our College Pastor, Tim Hess, and his wife, Bekka. Dinner is served (FREE FOOD!) and then a Bible study is shared. We are hoping to launch Missional Community groups (Mishcomms) this year that will be led by other college students who are passionate about making disciples.
As a college ministry, the two main things we do weekly are our weekly Bible study called "Flyover" as well as our Sunday morning worship services. We also do fun things together like bowling or Top Golf as well as serve together through local ministry opportunities. Many of our college students also get involved in other aspects of our church's ministry leading in children's ministry and student ministry. We also have a winter retreat together and provide opportunities for college students to serve on short-term mission trips during spring break and the summer in the US as well as other parts of the world like Uganda and Guatemala in the summer of 2023.
The best way is to be a part of our College Ministry GroupMe where you will receive texts messages to your phone keeping you up to date with all that is going on. You can also follow our College Ministry on Instagram.

Beyond showing up on Sundays and at our College Ministry events, there are plenty of ways to get connected to the church. We have a ton of college students who volunteer in all areas of our church. To find other service opportunities check out our Serve Page!
