Pastor Randy grew up in Hueytown, Alabama where at the age of 16, he trusted Jesus Christ as His Savior and surrendered his life to preach the Gospel as well. In 2006, he and his family along with a few other families and friends stepped out on faith to start a new work in Hoover, Alabama. That work has become The Station Church.
Randy holds a B.A. in Communications from The University of Alabama and also has his Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May, 2010. Randy was the 2008 recipient of The Troy L. Morrison Leadership Award given by the Alabama Baptist State Convention. This award is given annually to the pastor of the year in a new work (any church under 10 years of age).
Randy and his wife, Susan, have five children: Timothy, Abby, John Mark, Paul and Matthew. He and his family live in the Russet Woods community in Hoover, Alabama.
