WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE PRESCHOOL EXPRESS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?
WILL MY KIDS BE SAFE?
All of our Kidz Station! staff and volunteers receive proper training before serving in our children’s ministry. Our preschool and children’s area is also a secured area.
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS BEEN SICK DURING THE WEEK?
We ask that a child be free of fever and the symptoms of a viral infection for at least 24 hours before they attend a Sunday service.
WHEN DOES MY CHILD MOVE UP TO THE NEXT AGE GROUP?
Babies through Pre-K should move up on their birthday. Kids K-5th Grade should move up on Kidz Station! Move Up Day (middle of August).
HOW DO I CHECK MY CHILD INTO THE PRESCHOOL EXPRESS?
You may be wondering where to go when you arrive at our Sunday worship gathering. When you come into our parking area, you will see signs directing you to our Children’s Check-in area. We have Guest Parking right in front for families with preschoolers or children. Our Station Kidz! check-in has its’ own lobby right inside where you will find an entire team of people ready to help you get to the right place. Our Check-in team will greet you, help you get your child(ren) signed in, and personally escort you to your child’s classroom. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our children’s ministry. Plus, there are always friendly people in our lobby and hallways wearing “Guest Services” lanyards that are looking to serve you in any way that they can. When you sign your kids in, make sure you head to our Missions Depot Cafe for a cup of coffee or lemonade and a light snack before heading into the worship service.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME DURING WORSHIP?
If your little one needs you during the worship time, you will receive a text message to your cell phone and you can quietly exit the worship time to go check on your child’s needs. We also have a separate room for our nursing moms to take care of their baby’s needs. The room is well-maintained and even has the service live-streaming on a television so you don’t have to miss any of the worship time.
