We are a Southern Baptist church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. On a local level, we affiliate with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions and the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association. We choose to be associated with these organizations because we believe we can do together what we could never do on our own.

Susan is a teacher at Hoover High School.
What kind of music does The Station have?
Music is very important here at The Station. Joel Gray is our worship leader and you are going to love his dynamic voice and tremendous ability to lead worship. We are a contemporary church with a full band that leads us each week. We sing praise and worship music that you are likely to hear on the radio as well as some of our own original songs and other great songs with which you might not be familiar, but you’ll be searching the internet and radio for them when you leave the service!
What should I wear when I come to church?
Dress comfortably. Our atmosphere is casual. Our faith is serious.
When should I arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of Worship. That way, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or lemonade and maybe a doughnut or cookies while you meet others. If you have children, this will also give you time to get them checked in to our Preschool Express or Station Kidz ministry.
Where do I park?
The Station Church offers plenty of parking. We have guest parking for families with preschoolers right in front as you enter the parking lot, so make sure you follow the signs. We also have regular guest parking right in front on the interstate side of the building. No matter where you park, you will find volunteers who will help you find where you need to go.
What about our children?
Quality preschool and children’s ministries are available in a safe and secure environment. In fact, preschoolers and children are our number one focus. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously. There are greeters located in the lobby areas to help escort you and your child to get signed in. Once you electronically sign your child in, you will receive a text message during the worship service if your child needs you. All of our nursery, preschool, and children’s workers have undergone background checks and receive special training to make sure your children are taken care of properly.
